Mark Haselton 01/26/2012
Today at SEAOC, we heard from ARCE alum Mark Haselton. Mark has been very generous with both CAED and the ARCE department in the past and even sponsored the lab formerly known as F Lab (now the Haselton Design Lab). Today, Mark spoke about his experiences in the the ARCE program and completing his senior project, the blade structure in Poly Canyon. Mark also spoke briefly about the reconstruction of the blade structure and changes they made to the original design. Finally, Mark spoke about the prestressed concrete structure his firm built for the Olympic swimming pool in Georgia. As an added bonus, how many of you knew that Mark is an avid car enthusiast? After his lecture, he spoke to students about his custom made RUF that was parked outside Engineering West. Comments Your comment will be posted after it is approved. Leave a Reply |
