SEAOC This Thursday! 01/04/2012
Hey ARCEs! Welcome back! We had a great quarter in fall and I'm excited to get the ball rolling on winter quarter with a presentation this Thursday. Florian Barth, past president of the American Concrete Institute and Co-Chair of the Joint Sustainability Initiative, will be speaking on sustainable concrete and the future of the concrete industry as it relates to structural engineering. In continuing with my goal to bring in speakers that represent the many different trades that we can enter as graduated ARCEs, I'm excited to have Mr. Barth here to show another career choice. As always we'll meet in A-lab at 11am and lunch will be served. I'm excited to see most of you there! Laura **REMINDER** If you haven't signed up for SEAOC yet but want to, IT'S NOT TOO LATE!
